Howest Hands-On Innovation Session: ISE Cluster Event

Innovating with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) can give your company fresh ideas and Howest has the capacity to help you develop these ideas.

The ISE project is giving businesses in the ISE regions the possibility of collaborating with Howest on one of their new products. You will go home with lots of new insights and techniques on innovation, and maybe even with a new prototype!

DRAFT PROGRAMME

DAY 1

(UK companies) Travel from Kent to Kortrijk (details TBC)

Lunch on arrival 

2:00pm Innovation Session: learn about 'Innowiz' methods which will help you with future product development. 

6:00pm Finish

DAY 2

8:00am Hands-on workshop at Howest: put your ideas into practice in Howest's well-equipped prototyping lab! With expert guidance you will be able to make use of all of the machines to start 3D printing, lasercutting, vacuum casting, thermoforming and injection moulding etc.

There are very limited spaces for this 2-day event which will enable companies to work on a 1-2-1 basis with academics to apply innovation techniques followed by access to their cutting edge lab with all of the tools needed for prototyping and product development.

Please note that this ISE workshop is aimed at companies from or interested in becoming members of the ISE Cross-Border Cluster (Mechatronics). 

The clusters provide a forum for businesses and experts from the 4 ISE countries (UK, France, Belgium & the Netherlands) to meet together, collaborate and attend a series of bespoke cluster events.
