The Taste of International Business for the Food Sector

Sep 2017
Time: 7:00pm
Herteweg 61, Monie Nieuwdorp BV, Nieuwdorp, NL, 4455 TK

On Thursday, September 21, 2017, the Chamber of Commerce (KvK), in collaboration with FoodDelta Zeeland and Stichting Innovatiehuis, organizes the event Road2UK: The taste of international business for the food sector.

What’s going on for the food sector? What trends and developments are there? Business with the UK: Does it offer opportunities or is it a real threat? What impact does the upcoming Brexit have on Dutch SMEs? Recent reports from banks and accountant offices predict hard cuts for the Dutch food sector. Do you share that opinion as an entrepreneur? Should you search for new markets or will it not go this far?

What if a similar customs agreement comes with Norway and Switzerland? How bad is that? And in the future ... do we need to get back in line for hours to cross the border for customs checks?

Let yourself be inspired, participate in discussions, get acquainted with the guest company and meet fellow entrepreneurs. You will also find information about an interesting exhibition offering, a visit to Food Matters Live in London.

The program ends with a drink. During this drink you can find profiles of English companies looking for Dutch partners in the food sector, provided by ONE. An explanation will also be given of the offer of the mission to Food Matters Live in London on 21 and 22 November of the ISE2Seas project.

Participation in this meeting is free.
