Kent SMEs with an interest in technology and engineering are invited to attend this FREE Cross-Border Event with companies from France, Belgium & the Netherlands.

The programme will give you the opportunity to network with key Tech companies from the different regions, visit the MNE fair as VIP with an industry expert and attend an evening session around exponential and disruptive innovation with international keynotes from Peter Torreele and Christian Kromme.

Event Programme:

DAY 1 8 February 2018

11h30 : Arrival

Arrival and registration of all company delegates from UK, France, the Netherlands and Belgium

Afternoon

12h - 13h: Company pitches

Present your own product or service in 2 minutes to the other delegates during lunch.

13h - 14h: Matchmaking

Possibility for 1-2-1s with the stand holders or other delegates before the opening of the fair at 14h.

14h - 17h30: MNE Fair

Optional guided tour with captain of industry, Mr Mike Matheeussen, MD of The Engineering Network.

Evening

18h : POM Late shift: The importance of disruptive and exponential thinking in innovation.

After his career as managing director of the World Economic Forum, Peter Torreele has established his own successful technology companies in China and Australia in the past ten years. He also has a very active role as senior advisor to companies and governments, mainly around innovation and advanced manufacturing. As an expert in ‘Blue Ocean Market Development’, he will discuss the commercialization of innovations based on science and interdisciplinary leaps.

Christian Kromme was an innovative tech-entrepreneur for 15 years until he discovered the DNA behind disruptive innovation and how to use this to predict the next big wave of technological disruption.
Now Christian is one of the most in-demand futurist keynote speakers, speaking in front of tens of thousands of entrepreneurs, business leaders and policymakers about the radical impact of disruptive technologies on humans and organisations. He is also the author of the bestseller : ‘Humanification, Go Digital – stay Human’.  

19h30 – 21h30 : Networking event

Diner with Belgian specialties at the venue with all attendees of the evening event.

9h : Breakfast presentation and guided tour of a Flemish tech company (name t.b.c)
