The ISE project is organising a 2-day visit to Ghent, East Flanders on 22 & 23 May 2019 for companies working in the new materials sector or those in the manufacturing/mechatronics sectors wishing to make use of new materials for their products. The programme will include participation in the Advanced Engineering 2019 and the SIM User Forum event as well as opportunities to meet with companies from the ISE partner regions (Kent, East & West Flanders, the SW of the Netherlands and Hauts-de-France).
DAY 1 - 22 MAY

9:15am: Introduction of the Material Textiles & Chemical Engineering department of the University of Ghent
09:30am: Visit the mechanics of materials and structures/sustainable materials science lab facilities

2:00pm: Visit the Centre for Polymer & Material Technologies lab facilities

Please note that this cross-border programme is aimed at companies from/interested in becoming members of the ISE Cross-Border Cluster (New Materials).
The clusters provide a forum for businesses and experts from the 4 ISE countries (UK, France, Belgium & the Netherlands) to meet together, collaborate and attend a series of bespoke cluster events.
